There comes a point when a guy could get all worried and depressed. Especially if you pay attention to the news. You find yourself yelling at the TV and shaking your head in sorrow when you flip through CNN, Fox, and the other news sources on the web.
Most of it are stories about what could happen to health care, our security, and the assholes at ACORN. Casey is still dead, the liberals won’t give up the public option, and there was a Tsunami in the South seas. It is all so vague and unsettled that it makes us feel vague and unsettled.
Time to stop. Go up to the Indians and throw the dice. Win or loose, every cast of the dice settles something. It is real, definite, and is past and done. The news will be the same bunch of unsettled crap when I get back. It will do my soul good to miss the tumult.
