“President considering a speech in which he would be ‘more prescriptive’ about what he wants in health bill”
This was the headline on the front page of Fox News this morning.
Why in the world is he beating this dead horse? It is pretty clear from the feedback at the town meetings that The American People are not interested in his prescription for health care. If he does anything he should tell the House and Senate that it is important
that they trim down the 1000 page bill to about 25 pages. That is more than enough room to fix what needs to be fixed.
If he thinks that he can sell the idea to Americans that the government is going to, “Save” money to pay for this, he is sadly mistaken. Everything that the government touches costs 100 times more than it should. And everybody knows it.
