PHOENIX — About a dozen people carrying guns, including one with a military-style rifle, milled among protesters outside the convention center where President Barack Obama was giving a speech Monday — the latest incident in which protesters have openly displayed firearms near the president.
Gun-rights advocates say they’re exercising their constitutional right to bear arms and protest, while those who argue for more gun control say it could be a disaster waiting to happen.
Imagine that! An American with a gun! He carried it openly and it was fully loaded. I say that because all guns are loaded. He carried it in a safe position, slung over his shoulder, muzzle pointed at the ground.
Even though he had a gun with him, the evil aura of it did not overwhelm him and force him to shoot masses of people. From all reports he never discharged the weapon even once. To be armed is a natural right that the Second Amendment guarantees by preventing
Congress from making laws that take away our guns. The open carrying of a weapon in public is Free Speech protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
The idea that there is a gun free zone around Barack Hussein Obama is completely stupid. Every time Hussein goes out in public there are Americans right near him, one could say, within a pistol shot, that are carrying concealed handguns. Barack is not alone. Every time that you go out in public there are folks carrying concealed weapons standing or sitting right next to you. You can tell who they are because they look just like your Father, Mother or Brother. Did you know that Uncle Ed is not only a nice guy, but a hell of a shot from the hip?
I won’t even mention that one of the guys at the rally was a Black man with a rifle slung over his shoulder. First and foremost he is an American. An American with a gun, and the right to carry it. The thing that Barack Hussein Obama has to fear from this man is not his gun, but that there is a 100% chance that he votes.
