Ok,
I am sick. I am pretty sure that if I went to a doctor he would tell me that I have the swine flu. It is the popular brand these days. The fever, headache, and muscle aches are the clincher. Classic symptoms of the swine flu. Also the classic symptoms of the regular flu and the common cold.
Fox News says : “The new swine flu is rattling Americans from coast to coast and President Barack Obama pledged “to do whatever it takes” to battle an emergency that world health authorities warned is inching closer to a full-fledged pandemic.”
It is funny but I do not feel rattled in the least. What I feel is sick. I have felt just exactly this way many times before and will again. I have to say, it is kind of nice to be a member in good standing of a Pandemic. It is a comfort to me to know that President Barack Obama is willing , “to do whatever it takes” to help me out. I would take a lot more comfort if he could close the U.S. and Mexico border. I am pretty sure that there are thousands of Mexicans crossing it illegally today and will tomorrow. Some of them are surely infected with the virus.
I do not worry about those Mexican guys so much as I do the Taliban assholes coming across the border to cut my head off
