With his political career on the rocks after numerous controversies, Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd has become the poster boy for critics who say the inevitable ties between longtime members of Congress and special interests are undermining efforts to revive the economy.”
“Dodd said officials at the Treasury Department led him to believe that the changes, added to the $787 billion economic stimulus bill shortly before its passage last month, were merely “technical and innocuous” in nature.”
Chris Dodd is getting paid by the American People to know our business and take care of it. That means he is responsible for what is in a Bill before Congress. That means he is required to read it. This kind of stupidity would get you ass fired if you were any thing but a U.S. Senator.
This story should be a wake up call to the rest of Congress. The American people are not stupid. Just because you got elected, does not make YOU smart. When you start off to spend a TRILLION dollars of our money. It is best to take your time and really think things through. That includes reading the Bill that you are about to put your name on.
That Dodd is a Big Fat Liar is not in doubt. His feeble attempt to blame the Treasury Department for the Bonus money in the bill was
something that a third grader would come up with. Cops know this lie very well. It is, “The Other Dude Did It,” defense. They think that it is going to work because they think that they are SMART and Cops are STUPID.
All of this business with the bonus money is just smoke to cover what is really going on. The crushing debt that Obama and Friends are going to visit on our Great Grandchildren may do what the Islamic Terrorists never could.
