This Obama Federal federal tobacco tax is going to end up to be about $1.00 PER PACK or $10.00 per carton. It takes effect April 1st,2009
Now we know how Obama is going to tax the rich to pay for his social programs. Under his definition of, “Rich”, it looks like that any one who can afford to buy anything is rich. If you can afford the house you live in, then you are rich. If you can’t, Obama will give you money to pay your mortgage. If you are a New York banker, then you are disadvantaged and will get billions.
If you manufacture cars that no one wants you will be supported until the buying public sees the light.
If you need light bulbs. There is a new tax.
If you want to buy some bullets. Get set to pay another new tax.
If you want a smoke there is a whopping new tax.
If you want anything, anything at all. THERE IS A NEW TAX!
Obama promised to tax only those making over $250,000 a year. Most small business in this country make over $250,000 a year. Instead of expanding and creating new jobs those businesses will pay taxes. They will lay off workers and some of them will close their doors.
