You have got to love our leaders. They are in a great big hurry to
pass a stimulus package of over $800 billion, with interest that will
cost you and I over One TRILLION dollars. The great big hurry is so
that no one has any time to think about where the money is going to
go and if it will actually stimulate the economy.
Congress is either truly ignorant or are just pretending that
Global Warming is settled science. They have EARMARKED $400 million
for global warming research.
They have EARMARKED $25 million for new ATV trails. ATV means All
Terrain Vehicle. Why would they need a trail?
The $400 million EARMARK for the National Endowment for the Arts
is a good investment. Artists are well known for their ability to
stimulate the economy. They can make up songs about bread lines and
stupid politicians.
$30 billion has been set aside for an infrastructure fix. That
might take care of SOME of the pot holes that we will be left with in
the Spring. Global Warming is very tough on roads, what with all the
ice and snow, coupled to the SUB ZERO temperatures that go on and on and on.
But what is Plan B?
Just suppose that this $800 Billion follows the $365 Billion down
the rabbit hole, and no matter how many songs that the artists sing,
it doesn’t stimulate the economy.
What then?
