Nonie Darwish has been an outspoken Muslim, standing up against the Islamic intolerance for many years. She has appeared on Arab TV speaking out against Sharia practices, and discrimination against women by Islam. She has a new book coming out in Jan 2009, entitled “Cruel and USUAL Punishment”.
