The title itself is an oxymoron!
In an article by Habib Shaikh for the Khaleej Times, it is reported that the Human Rights Commission will launch a ‘kingdom wide’ campaign to stop violence against women!
“The year-long drive will be inaugurated by Princess Hussa bint Tarad Ashaalan, wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz,…”
“The campaign also aims to educate men on the need to improve their treatment of women. ”
“Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.” Qu’ran 4:34
Hopefully they dont use the Qu’ran for that ‘education’!
