What The Islamic Terrorists Learned in Mumbai

They learned that small fast moving Havoc Teams can do lots of
damage.

Despite what they say, most governments cannot counter this kind
of threat in a timely fashion.

We in the United States may be in better shape to meet this kind
of attack because of the Columbine High School massacre on April 20,
1999.

Up until that time the police were trained to respond to an
incident, create a perimeter, and wait for the negotiators to do
their jobs.

Police training changed the day after Columbine. Now they are
trained to go after the active shooter upon arrival at the scene.
Never mind perimeters or negotiators. Go in and shoot the sonofabitch
and you will save lives.

It is no accident that all the mass shootings have been on school
campuses in recent years. The law of most states makes a school or
university campus a, “Gun Free Zone.” unless you are an active
shooter looking for a target rich environment. Ordinary honest
citizens are prohibited from carrying their legally concealed
firearms onto the campus. The active shooter, who is intent upon mass
murder is not worried about paying a fine when he takes his weapon
into a gun free zone. He knows that it should be called a, “Criminal
Enterprise Zone”.

A Havoc Team turned loose in this country will meet police that
have a different mind set and ordinary citizens who are armed. At
least in most states. To be safe, stay out of New York,
Massachusetts, California and Illinois.
